Characters Needed: To complete this mission in Spec Ops #2, you will need to unlock the following characters involved in Spec Ops #2: Mission 1, Phoenix is a compulsory character. For Mission 3's EPIC Mystique, you will need Colossus, Phoenix, and Scarlet Witch.

Mission 1 Shakedown: 1 to 6.
Mission 2 Sentinel: 7 to 16.
Mission 3 Subjected: 17 to 25.
- All the Queen's Men: Defeat 5 Hellfire Club soldiers. They can be found in Mission 1. Requires 10 gold to skip Rewards: 100 XP
- Castling with Queenside Rook: Complete a Deploy. Deploy heroes to advance through a mission. Requires 10 gold to skip - Note - You can bypass this by using any deployment in PvE Story missions outside Spec Ops #2. Rewards: 1000 Silver
- The World's Social Elite: Defeat 5 Hellfire Elite. They can be found in Mission 1. (Note: Don't do Storm mini-boss fight. Do 1 battle, skip the deployment and once you finish defeating Hellfire Elite, ABORT MISSION and start all over again until you fulfill the requirement 5/5 Hellfire Elite). Time your wins carefully, once you hit 3 or 4/5, on the next run, deploy x 1 deployment only and then you complete 2 and 3 together.Requires 10 gold to skip Rewards: 200XP
- The White Queen: Use Emma Frost in Combat. She is a Team-Up in several boss fights. (Note: Do not fight Blob and Mini-Boss, Avalanche together. Fight Avalanche first, upon completing it, this part will be fulfilled). Requires 10 gold to skip Rewards: 2000 Silvers

- How I Learned to Stop Worrying...: Research EMP Grenade in the Lab. The EMP Grenade can be researched after acquiring the AIM EMP Grenade Schematics. Research requires 60 UISO-8, 100 silver and 8 hours to complete. (requires 20 gold to skip)
- Invitation Only: Complete 2 stars of mastery in Mission 1. Requires 10 gold to skip Reward: 1 Command Point and 100 XP
- Unstable Containment: Get 10 Unstable Isotope-8. Requires 10 gold to skip Note - You can complete this requirement by just accepting 10 x unstable blue ISO-8 sent to you from allies. Check your inbox and click.
- Breaking the Mold: Defeat 10 Sentinels. They can be found in Mission 2 and has to be completed inside Spec Ops #2. Requires 10 gold to skip Rewards: 100XP
- Uncanny X-Men: Take 2 X-Men into battle. Wolverine, Cyclops, Colossus, Kitty Pryde, Nightcrawler, Phoenix, Storm and Emma Frost are all members. - Mind Games: Upgrade Mindbreaker to Mindkiller in the Lab. The Mindkiller can be researched after acquiring the Mindbreaker. Research requires 80 UISO-8, 200 silver and 30 hours to complete. (requires 20 gold to skip) Rewards: 100XP
- Rook, Knight, Bishop: Complete 3 Deploys. Requires 10 gold to skip. Note - Deployments can be applied and completed outside Spec Ops environment, in PvE Story missions.
- More Human Than Human: Defeat Omega Sentinel. She is the Boss of Mission 2. Requires 10 gold to skip Rewards: Mission 3 Unlocked!
- EMP-ulsive Actions: Use 5 EMP Grenades in combat. EMP Grenades can be purchased from the store after researching them. Requires 10 gold to skip Note - 5 x EMP Grenades can be applied and completed outside Spec Ops environment, in PvE Story missions or in PvP. Rewards: 100XP
- Council of the Chosen: Get 2 stars of mastery in Mission 2. Requires 10 gold to skip ☆ Reward: Skullsplitter (Research)
- Skull and Crossbones: Upgrade Skullsplitter to Skullripper in the Lab. The Skullripper can be researched after acquiring the Skullsplitter. Research requires 120 UISO-8, 300 silver and 48 hours to complete. (requires 20 gold to skip) Rewards: 1000 Silver
- Immoral Acts: Defeat 10 Beta level test subjects. They can be found in Mission 3. Requires 10 gold to skip Rewards: 100XP
- Brain Freeze: Use Emma Frost's Psychic Tap ability three times. Emma Frost is a Team-Up in several boss fights. Requires 10 gold to skip Rewards: 3000 Silver.
- Astonishing X-Men: Take 5 X-Men into battle. Wolverine, Cyclops, Colossus, Kitty Pryde, Nightcrawler, Phoenix, Storm and Emma Frost are all members. re-play the Avalanche mini-boss stage at least in 1 to 3 battles/runs.
A smart method around this is to use the consumable, Chrono Accelerator which grants Burst of Speed, taking 2 turns instead of just 1.
