Update as of 26.07.2012. PvP Suspension is Permanent so says Game Support in response to certain gamers queries and appeals.
Dear Playdom Gamer,
Thank you for contacting us with your inquiry. The account in question was suspended from participating in PVP as it was found to have been using a cheat or exploit within the game which is a direct violation of our Terms of Service.
As stated in the License to Use the Services section of the Terms of Service:"This license is subject to certain limitations. Any use of the Services in violation of these limitations will be considered a breach of this Agreement,and may result in disciplinary or legal action against you or your account. You agree that you will not: Cheat or use, develop or distribute automation software programs ("bots"), "macro" software programs or other "cheat utility" software program or applications which are designed to modify the Playdom experience to the detriment of fair play;"
Examples of this include, but not limited to:
- Obtaining game items that were not accessible according to their agent level, last completed chapter/mission, or completed research at the time they received the item.
- Receiving reward items in combat that are not designed to be “dropped” in that level or for the agents level.
- Receiving a 5 star mission mastery but only played the mission once or twice.
- Achieving an incredibly high agent level relative to the amount of actual time played.
It is important to note that the PVP Suspension does not interfere with your ability to play through the normal PVE portions of the game. As it only prevents you from participating in the PVP portion of Marvel: Avengers Alliance. As such, you will be able to continue progressing through the main storyline and subsequent chapters.

PLAYDOM restricts PvP Cheats
We recently imposed disciplinary measures that will prevent some players from being able to access the PvP features of Marvel: Avengers Alliance. These measures are intended to remove accounts that showed evidence of having violated our Terms of Service to gain an unfair advantage. We hope these measures will help ensure fair game play for our players, and apologize for any inconvenience they may cause. Please note that any violation of our Terms of Service puts your account at risk of being permanently banned from our games.
Why was I suspended from PvP?
To ensure that all players can enjoy their gameplay experience, disciplinary action was taken against players who were negatively impacting others' play experience or the game itself. Disciplinary action is never pleasant, however it is
necessary in order to maintain the quality of service for all. Players that were suspended, were suspended only from PvP if their accounts showed evidence of unauthorized data manipulation by using a cheat tool, bot, service, etc.
Examples of this include, but not limited to:
- Obtaining game items that were not accessible according to their agent level, last completed chapter/mission, or completed research at the time they received the item.
- Receiving reward items in combat that are not designed to be “dropped” in that level or for the agents level.

To further clarify, these players may continue to enjoy the PVE portion of the game, however they will not be able to participate in any of the PVP aspects. Please note we are continuously monitoring player's accounts for unauthorized content.

OUR VIEWS + WHO'S A CHEATER OR HACKER

Founded in March this year, we are an organized group made up of Marvel enthusiasts. We do not encourage any form, discussion of applications, exploitation or loop holes that gives gamers an edge over others without earning them via game play, missions etc.
The Official Forum do not allow any posting or discussion on this topic. At our group we take a serious view on this issue with varying degrees. See below how and what to do.
NO SHAMING ON WALL
1) No pointing of allegations against other Gamers including references, screenshots of Players in PvP or in your Allies ladder boasting of scores, items and armories. We are here to learn and share not to pinpoint one another faults.
NO TEACHING OTHERS HOW AND WHERE TO CHEAT
2) NO SHARING OF KNOW-HOW, WHERE CAN I FIND, HOW TO on applications and methods or when such methods occur.
RESPECT OF PRIVACY
3) No naming of Facebook gamers, that's no UID posting here.
IMMEDIATE REMOVAL OF CHEATERS / DELIBERATE BOT USERS
4) SCAMMERS, CHEATERS, HACKERS will be instantly banned from the group if you are reported to the administrators or unveiled as part of their desire to boast about their achievements/ foolishness.. So please exercise discretion at all times.
REPORT ALL CHEATERS WITH THEIR FACEBOOK UID TO PLAYDOM
5) If you feel a moral obligation, you are welcomed to report such violations to Playdom at http://playdom.zendesk.com/requests/new
We are a gamers group and only losers and attention seekers hack and cheat. Superheroes do not cheat and when you cheat, you rob the fun out of the game.
