Marvel Avengers Alliance: How to unlock Deadpool ( PVP League Tournaments)

Deadpool will join your ranks if you are among the best of the best in the current 24 day tournament season.

To win Deadpool, you must compete in 100 ranked tournament fights, practice fights do not count.Be among the top 1000 at the end of the season.

PVP

• Tournaments are now live!
  • Tournaments award prizes for player performance at the end of a season (NOT when they are promoted to a new league)
  • Players can represent their performance by earning placement in leagues

Deadpool - New Hero

• Players who place in the Adamantium League win Deadpool for free, a month before he becomes available for all players to purchase

Item Changes

• Phoenix Flare damage and stamina cost reduced slightly. Now starts with a 1 round cooldown
  • We hope these changes help mitigate use of this weapon being the “only valid strategy” for winning PVP. We want this to be a desirable weapon and worth the investment in completing the Spec Ops tasks, but recognize that it was causing negative effects on player diversity.

What’s New?
The next update to PvP is here!

• Tournament seasons should now last approximately one month each 
• Players will be placed in Leagues as they climb the ranks on the leaderboard 
• Rewards! Players will be awarded based on their league level at the end of a season! 
• Every season will have different rewards, so make sure to compete every season!

Leagues

Just like before, the start of a new season resets everyone’s Rating and placement on the leaderboards. As players compete, they will be placed in a League. By performing a required number of ranked PVP fights and attaining a high enough Rating, a player can be promoted to higher Leagues. If a player loses Rating or enough players surpass a player’s Rating, it is possible to fall back into a lower League.



Battle Reports - Tournament History

Battle Reports now has an additional tab unlocked which displays a player’s placement in recent PVP Tournaments. This displays the League they attained and which prizes they received.

New PVP Bonus Items

In order to allow more players to compete in PVP, we have added items that players can acquire for a combination of Silver and S.H.I.E.L.D. Points. These can help bridge the gap between new players and their opponents. In addition, there is now a button to filter PVP items in the Resources page of the store. Fill out your armory and stay on top of the competition!

Prizes

At the end of each Tournament season, players earn prizes based on which League they are in at the end of the season. Remember it is possible to be demoted. Players must maintain their placement until the very end of the tournament to be considered for that league’s prize. Each League unlocks access to the next tier of prizes as well as awarding all lower tiers of prizes. For the first tournament, the prizes awarded are as follows.

Silver League

All players who participate in at least one Ranked PVP match gain access to the Silver League and qualify for the prize when the Tournament ends. The prize for Silver League is 100,000 Silver.

Gold League

Players who end in at least the Gold League will earn 10 gold!

Diamond League

Players who ascend to the Diamond League will earn an exclusive piece of gear for their Agent, the Focal Plasma Cannon.


Vibranium League

Players who manage to place in the Vibranium league at the end of the Season will be rewarded with the ability to research an exclusive Infiltrator uniform for their Agents. In addition to a brand new visual effect on this uniform, it grants players a constant 25% reduction to melee damage.

Adamantium League

The dedicated players who manage to finish Season 1 in the Adamantium League will unlock a brand new hero, Deadpool, for free, and have access to him for a month before he becomes available for purchase by all players.

Remember, tournament prizes are not awarded until the END of the Tournament. In the case of Season 1, that will be the first week of November 2012.


PVP Update

• A New 4 Day PVP Tournament Season has begun. 
• These shorter seasons are being activated while we iron out the final wrinkles for the new PVP Tournament system launching “Super Duper Soon!” We can’t say too much about it yet, but it will be AWESOME!!! When the new PVP Tournament Seasons become active, PVP will return to the longer tournament season times.

4. Melee Attack. 

Ignore Defense:

• Damage Ignores Enemy's Defense stats. 
• Attacks Penetrates Shield Status.. 

OP : (1 turn): Makes Deadpool OP.
OP stands for Overpower. duh!

Bang Bang Bang!:

1. One Enemy. 
2. Number of Hits: 25 
3. Hit/Critical: 88%/53% 
4. Ranged. 
5. High Crits: Increased Chance for critical hits. 
6. Boon Buster: 

• Deals Increased Damage against targets with Strengthen, Fortified, Focused, Agile, Shield, or Regan Effect., but only if Deadpool is OP 

No Holds Barred:

1. One Enemy. 
2. Number Of Hits: 3 
3. Hit/Critical: 86%/11% 
4. A Clean State: While I'm at it, might as well get rid of those nasty debuffs. 
5. Lots of Red Boxes: Cause a bunch of debuffs, but only if Deadpool is imba. 
6. Totally Broken (1 turn): Makes Deadpool totally broken. I Expect to get nerfed soon.

Happy to See You:

1. One Enemy. 
2. CoolDown: 3. 
3. Hit/Critical: 88%/11% 
4. Ranged. 
5. Heroic Feats: Grants Super Heroic, but only if Deadpool is Level 16 Ranger. 

Remove Debuffs:

• Causes Buff Blocker, but only if Deadpool is imba. 
• Removes benificial status effects from target and prevent new application 

Face Melter:

• Causes Melt Armor, but only if Deadpool is OP. 
• All attack against this target ignores defense.. 

Exploitation:

• has paragon exploiter, but only if Deadpool is totally broken. 
• Deals extra damage on against targets with Bleed, Burning, Combo Set up, Chilled, Dizzy.
