CSI : Miami Heat Wave Quick Start Guide

CSI: Miami Heat Wave tests your snooping skills in a unique way. You step into the shoes of a rookie crime-scene investigator. You will do everything a crime scene investigator does - snoop around, interrogate, use state-of-the-art lab equipment to search for evidence and catch criminals.

When you start CSI: Miami Heat Wave, Ryan Wolfe will walk you through a tutorial to test your skills, explaining the basics of the game.

CSI: Miami Heat Wave basics

Catching a murder in CSI: Miami Heat Wave is the main challenge, but in the end, it all comes down to three steps:

If a new case opens up, Horatio will be in the lab telling you. Make sure you have enough resources every time you start a new case.

When a mission starts, you will be taken to the (first) crime scene. Click on the tiles to find all the evidence in this location.

Once you've found all the evidence, return to the lab to have the evidence processed.

Once the evidence is processed, talk to a subject. Ask him or her the right question to break their spirit and get a confession out of them.

Note:

You have to choose a question from 3 option. You can also remove option by clicking an ally. if you ask the 'wrong' questions, there will be no reprimanding. You will just waste energy.
If you don't have enough evidence to get a confession yet, search more locations, gather more evidence and interview more suspects until you've nailed the crook.

Resources
In your lab there are 4 resource stations, which produce resources bio-agents, revealer and silicone, stabilizers
over time.

If you're in need of resources quickly, you can change the production time to a shorter period. When you're done playing for the moment, make sure you increase the time again, so you don't waste too many resources on a back-log.You can also earn them by visiting allies.

CSI Shields
CSI Shields are used for unlocking premium items and CSI elite facilities. You will need to pay real cash to get  CSI Shields, but there always another way around. You can complete simple tasks, such as listening to music, completing surveys, buying jewelry and items.

CSI Elite
You can be a CSI Elite but for that you will need to spend CSI shields. Being a CSI Elite has its own advantages;
  • You get faster energy recharges (2 min/energy instead of 3 min/energy)
  • More gadgets per day (15 gadget/day instead of 10 gadget/day)
  • Unlock exclusive goodies.
You can become CSI elite for one day for 10 Shields; 7 days for 40 shields, even become permanent elite. But for that you will need at least 250 Shields.

Reputation
Make sure that you also take on some of the extra missions, as they are the only ways to earn badges, which you need to take on new missions. You can return to a location to find the extra items requested anytime.
ATTENTION : Never skip a mission without collecting Reputation point because this will be needed to unlock a mession.
Gadget
If you've run out of energy but you really want to find that evidence, you can use gadgets to search free of energy. You are limited to using 10 gadgets per day, so if you really want to make progress, use a more advanced flash light.

Visit Ally
You will get 1 energy for visiting a ally and you can also earn 5 Bio-agent / revealer / silicone / stabilizers for 5 visiting energy
.

Inventory
You can put any decoration items, lab gadget and lab gear here.
